We were sat up front and a few waves smashed directly into us. It was quite fun actually but quite rough too, so you'd just want to be aware of that.”

“A very early pick up 5.45am and then over an hour wait on the beach for the boat didn't feel like a good start but once we were underway the day was everything we wanted and more. We saw dolphins many times, a pod of between 30-50 ! Unfortunately as soon as we got in the water they ducked away and popped up 30 ft away! Definitely playing with us! The guide was respectful of the dolphins and although it was a case of spot them then try and get a little closer this was done gently. We were also lucky enough to see sea turtles, what amazing majestic creatures…”

The snorkeling spot was great but I think there are better places around Ile aux Cerfs to see more and more colourful fishes. The GSRE waterfall was disappointing and too many boats with tourists have been around. Ile aux Cerfs itself was very nice, has a lot of beautiful beaches but we only had 1,5 hours there. That was too less time to find a nice place and to relax or snorkel.”

“We booked late evening for the next day and they managed to put us on a trip for the next morning. the tour was amazing! we started on the catamaran to gabriel island and we could move around as much as we wanted, had drinks and music if we liked. the island was beautiful and the water magical! We swam and were able to snorkel if we wanted to. After we got back on the boat we got a BBQ which was very good and then headed back to the main island. all in all it was a super nice day, well organised and very friendly people”
